Paging Doctor Freud: The Phallic Rocks of Cappadocia
Maybe this is just me. (And my son, obv.)
Maybe I have an unusually dirty mind.
Maybe I am, in fact, a teenage boy.
But I can’t help finding some of these Cappadocian rock formations just that little bit, umm, suggestive. What do you reckon?
Have *you* seen many phallic rocks on your travels? Share the childishness here…
🙂
You are thirteen, going on fourteen…
I saw them when I was there in Cappadocia and thought the same thing! Some looked really phallic/suggestive. Truly unique!
That final photo is hilarious…
And yes, time to call in Freud!
PS: No need for Viagra here! 🙂
I should perhaps have added my stash of pics of places selling “Turkish viagra”. *Coughs*
for some reason I keep thinking of Borat saying “sexy time”
Oh dear. Now I’m getting visions of mankinis. Thank you for that…
LOL Kristy!
We’re so there with you. My favorites were the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks in Ko Samui, Thailand. They look just like … giggle … well, you know. If only I could attach a picture 🙂
I can imagine. I’m taking it that the grandmother is, ahem, a different shape?
No doubt, Freud would have probably been happy to write an article or two about this place.
It is also, now I come to think of it, a dreamscape… Damn!
Yep they sure do look like something! And yep they are weird 🙂
